Easter is just around the corner so I have decided to create something weird for this holidays :) 

!!EASTER MONSTER!!

I don't know why people create bunnies for Easter which I think have nothing much to do with the religious or historical aspects of the holiday. They probably do it for the same reason as I do. It's so much fun!!! I enjoyed doing these weird large-sized eyes bunnies / monsters :)

It is made from new fluffy super soft kids socks, foam insert (could be pillow polyester insert), polystyrene eye inserts and few buttons!  

It is very simple and easy to make a sock doll. You don't even need sewing machine to do these creatures. All you need is scissors, needle, thread and some old socks! :) You can do it by yourself or help your child create lovely sock bunnies this  holiday. You can find a lot of ideas how to make a  sock doll at various website. Some offer videos or step-by-step presentation.

My art heroes (part 1) - ORLA KIELY

One of my favorite lifestyle designers is definitely Orla Kiely. She began her career studying at Dublin's National College of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art where she is currently Visiting Professor for Textiles. Her unique design language and sense of graphic control has seen her label become a hugely successful global brand. 

Orla created her own world which is renowned for its individual voice and unique perspective to both fashion and homeware. For anyone who loves retro design Orla Kiely items are just adorable .

Her amazing work is just perfect dose of colors and patterns we need in Ireland in rainy days :) I am sure her cheerful handbags, stationary or homeware can cheer up everybody's face even when it's raining!

My new project_An envelope handbag ”London, Paris, Tokyo"

An envelope handbag is the hottest accessory this season. It is popular for night but some styles created in a large version can be used for day, to carry the items that you need. I created a day stylish envelope bag (clutch) that can add glam to any outfit, without needing the evening attire.

These bags are so light, comfortable for your hand, and also they look nice. Not only that, but they are so convenient for many social occasions you are attending. This is why so many women just love en envelope bag. It is not just that they must have, but it is something that they enjoy carrying. This way, every woman can carry her money, drivers’ license, credit cards, some make up, and still look stunning.

New York, London, Tokyo, Paris, Rome, Montreal,... not only large cities, but also very fashionable. Ever since I saw this fabric I fell in love with it. It is exactly the type of fabric I like – simple lines, eye catching and made from quality cotton! I had to have it :)

The bag itself measures approx. 14" in width by 16" in height. The bag's interior & exterior is made of cotton as usually! Both front and back of this bag is filled with 3mm foam padding to give it a nice structure and shape. It closes with hot pink or parrot blue zipper.

Fold it down and slip it underneath an arm or carry it straight on :D. Either way, it’s an effortlessly cool!

This one is an universal envelope bag which could be worn anywhere! A lovely silver fabric makes an interesting light & shadow play. It looks great with an evening dress too!

The clutch is fully lined in black cotton. It closes with two magnetic snaps.
