IVORY fold over clutch

The latest MirkaDesign* bag is called IVORY. As you know Ivory is a soft neutral colour that isn't quite white and has some of the earthiness of light browns. Ivory represents quiet, pleasantness with a touch of lustre.

I think IVORY is a very convenient and calming colour which you can combine with almost everything. 

What makes this clutch different from others is material. It's made from durable felt backed vinyl, it's beautifully structured, waterproof and very light!

I made a leather zippered pouch for Viki few days ago and as I promised I am back with a similar bag that you can also find in my shop . This chic artificial leather envelope clutch is just perfect balance between useful and stylish accessory that you can carry everywhere! Carry it during the day to transport your essentials, or team it with a glamorous outfit at night! 

This carry all pouch is made from an artificial black leather, the interior is lined with black durable cotton fabric. The bag features metal gun pyramid studs on the front side, closes with a zip.

This is my latest creation. The extra large neck warmer.  It combines fashion and function to provide a protection for your neck and lower face in cold and windy weather conditions. The cowl is made of beautifully textured white acrylic front fabric and lined with warm furry fabric which is also very comfortable to wear thanks to it's softness.

Many people have asked me to do more purses and display them in my shop. So here are three new styles. Hope you like them!

I have designed these purses in a way that will comfortably fit your cash, credit cards, coupons, mobile phone and whatever else you need to carry with you. 

So these bags are basically combination of clutch and purse. It's very practical for myself. I do not have to carry any more bags! :) 

The purse has 12 pockets in total: 9 pockets for credit cards/business cards, coupons, gift cards,.., 1 pocket for bank notes, 1 zipped pocket for coins and 1 extra large pocket for your phone, keys, lipstick, make up …The purse is made of 100% cotton. It closes with black elastic band which holds your stuff inside the purse tightly.

 

The purse measures 10 x 6" when closed, 10 x 12" when opened.

A Purse - gift for my mum (FEEDBACK NEEDED!)

My parents came to visit me in Ireland few weeks ago. We had a great time together, enjoying beautiful weather and amazing Irish countryside. As you might remember I did a project few months ago – PURSE which became my favorite accessory for all occasions. When I showed this purse to my mum during her visit, she liked the design and mainly the idea that I can carry EVERYTHING in this bag: money, keys, phone, credit cards, business cards, coupons, bills, lipstick and much more!

So I have decided to make very similar purse for herself. I used different fabric, but same design. I made the pockets smaller as the pockets on the first one are a little bit loose. 

The purse has 12 pockets in total:  9 pockets for credit cards/business cards, 1 pocket for bank notes, 1 zipped pocket for your coins and 1 extra large pocket for your phone, keys, lipstick, …It closes with black elastic band which hold the purse tight.

I would like to get feedback from you. Do you like this purse? What would you change? Would you like to see this product in my shop??

Extra large clutch -wood structure print

Clutch has always been a great accessory to any outfit - day or night. As you know it is usually quite small to fit all our necessities and we always have to consider what to put into that small but stylish bag. This problem is now sorted! I have made this extra large clutch in which you can carry EVERYTHING! More stuff you put in, better look it gets!

Basically this bag is large square pocket which needs to be filled in with your "survival stuff" , such as your purse, mobile, keys, make up, diary, ... it can fit your laptop too! Just slip that in and carry it under your arm! This bag measures approx.15.5 x14.5 inches so if your laptop doesn't excesses these measurements you can use it as laptop sleeve too!

What I like about this bag is not only size but also the fabric print. The wood structure in black and white looks so cool to me. I am sure this lovely print will make beautiful finish to your outfit!

The clutch is made from firm 100% cotton and it is lined with black durable fabric inside. It closes with two magnetic snaps.

New laptop sleeves!*

New design - laptop sleeve WOLF*

I created a new laptop sleeve design few weeks ago when one friend of mine asked me to make a sleeve for her new  Macbook Air laptop http://www.apple.com/macbookair/  This laptop is made from strong, beautiful materials like aluminum and glass. It comes with latest technology and it has features you won't find on a PC. It is SUPER SLIM and looks just gorgeous! 

As this laptop is so special and original I wanted to create a sleeve which would be unique too! With a help of JH Design studio we came up with this idea:

What makes this sleeve different is a closure. It closes very simple. Just fold  the opening side of the sleeve and fix it with an elastic band! It is fast and practical. The elastic band is sewn-in so you will never loose it :)

  

The sleeve is is made from 100% cotton fabric, lined with white cotton and reinforced with thin PVC foam. The soft cotton fabric inside helps protect your laptop from scratches and other cosmetic damage.

As usual sleeves can be made in all sizes & all laptop types ( such as Macbook, Dell, HP, Sony, Acer, Compaq, Toshiba, Lenovo,..)

PURSE* - my latest sewing project!

I was looking for a purse which would fit all the necessities of life into one convenient package. I wasn't very happy with what I found in local shops :( One was too small, the other one was big enough but the style or colors weren't great, .. So then I asked myself why don't you create one by yourself ??? At first I liked the idea but after few hours of measuring, cutting, sewing, sweating and coursing I realized it wasn't such a great idea ... BUT I did it finally and here is the result! Hope you like it :)   

I have designed this purse in a way that will comfortably fits my cash, cards, mobile phone and whatever else I need to put inside. So it has become clutch more than wallet heh :)  

I am planning to make smaller version of this purse and display it in my shop. I might change fabric and style slightly. If you have any ideas & advises  how to improve it please leave a comment!
